Layla – How is it Made?
The Layla Memory Foam mattress is 10″ thick and is specifically designed to be flippable, which gives you two firmness options.
The firmer side of the mattress is constructed of a 4.5″ layer of dense poly foam with a 1″ layer of copper-infused memory foam over that.
The softer side of the mattress has a 2″ layer of convoluted poly foam that acts as a transition layer to soften the mattress. (This layer looks like egg crate foam) Above that is a 3″ layer of copper-infused memory foam. This is the side for people who love the traditional memory foam feel of sinking into the mattress, and being hugged as it contours around your body.
The copper infused memory foam provides cooling benefits by deflecting heat away from your body and keeping you cooler as you sleep.
The copper gel memory foam layers also help provide a plush, super supportive feel to the mattress because the copper doesn’t give in under pressure and actually pushes back with a firming response.
There is also a removable cover which is very soft and can be cleaned.
The foams that are used are all certified by CertiPUR-US. This means there are no PBDEs, ozone depleters, TDCPP or TCEP (“Tris”) flame retardants, lead, formaldehyde, mercury or phthalates.

How Firm is the Layla?
This flippable mattress gives you two firmness options. The soft side is medium soft; about a 4 out of 10. Side sleepers will enjoy this side with the hugging feeling for your pressure points.
The firm side is a medium to medium firm; 7 out of 10 and is preferred by back and stomach sleepers because of the increased support and less sinkage. Side sleepers who enjoy a firmer mattress will be happy with this side as well.
Keep in mind that the heavier you are, the softer the bed will feel. It is best for people under 230 lbs.
